O.P.I. Crackle Nail Polish Review
By Vinay Heart
When I first saw this polish in stores, there was only one color, black. Being that it was a completely new thing to me, I was so excited to put it to work and see what kinds of crazy things I could come with to do with it. Since my purchase of the O.P.I. brand crackle coat in black, I've seen these things pop up in every other brand and every other color. I'm telling you, this stuff is awesome! Honestly, black is the only color I own and am completely happy with that for right now because I can't get enough of the way bright colors pop against the matte black.
Using this stuff is so easy! I usually put two coats of base color on, since I'm going for a rich and bright base, and let the polish dry. Apply the crackle polish just as you would any other polish on top of the dried base color. The paint is think and may sort of look odd at first, but it will immediately look like you're a madwoman who covered your pretty color up with a solid coat of black. If this is the way it looks, then you're doing it right. As you watch, the paint separates as it dries and creates a super cool "shattered" look right in front of your eyes! This polish continues to be awesome by drying relatively quickly (a huge plus in my book) and allowing for a clear top coat to seal everything up nicely. My favorite designs are shown here as having a bright gold base color in one picture, and (my all-time fave) going for a crazy neon 80's effect underneath, shown in the picture at the bottom (tutorial on how to get that look will be coming soon so keep checking back!).

I have the opi crackle colors in black/white/red/gold/blue/purple and silver and each one is very cool---anyone can pull it off..my mother in law is 86 and still does gets nail designs every 2 weeks...you really should try it--even if is only on your toes--i think it lasts alot longer than just a simple color..
I haven't been able to try this yet but I have been wanting to soo bad! I can't wait to try it looks amazing!

It looks like something that teenagers will love as the look can be changed with not too much effort. I don't think I can pull it off though! Lol! Maybe on my toes....
